That's right, we're talking about stress, that thing that sometimes makes you want to pull your hair out and scream at the top of your lungs.

 

But don't worry, we've got your back. In this fun and informative evening, we're going to teach you about your nervous system, a touch about the vagus nerve and the magical power of play.
 

Do you ever feel like a hamster running on a wheel, you keep going and going, and for some reason not giving yourself the chance to get off that thing even for a little while?

 
Well, let us tell you, you're not alone. If we are honest, sometimes it can feel like we're all stuck in a giant game of whac-a-mole, but instead of moles, it's just our never-ending to-freaking do list!

 

And what does all this craziness lead to? Stress, baby! You know that feeling? Like being constantly wound up, like a ball of yarn that's just about to unravel. But don't worry, we've all been there. Stress is apart of life.
 
Now, you might think that scrolling through social media, binging on your favorite TV show, or just checking out for a while is the answer. And don't get me wrong, those things can be fun. But they're not actually addressing the root of your stress. And it doesn't give your body much of an actual rest.
 
Hmmmm what if there is a logical but sometimes forgotten way back to re-balancing oneself? And what if having fun and playing isn't just for kids? What if your nervous system actually is designed to need dose of playfulness every so often? To get the hell off the whac-a-mole and the hamster wheel and reset every now and again? So you can let go, breath easier, function better, be happier and more connected?
 
We have put together an evening at the gorgeous Establishment, where you can sit back, relax, enjoy a cocktail or mocktail maybe with a buddy or come alone that's fine too and hear about a touch of fancy science stuff that we promise we'll make easy to understand and exploring fun ways to relax the nervous system.
