River Reset

A guided reset beside the river

River Reset is a small group session for people who are used to holding things together.

Many of us were taught how to keep going, meet expectations, and hold responsibility but not how to stay mentally well while doing it.

Over time, that starts to show up as tension, fatigue, or an underlying sense that you’ve moved further from yourself than you intended.

River Reset gives you a place to pause before things build too far.

A couple of hours beside the river.
A small group.

Nothing you need to organise or figure out.

Just space to settle your system and hear yourself again.

Many people who come to River Reset

are used to being the one others rely on and don’t often stop for themselves

have been keeping things going for a long time and are starting to feel the strain underneath it

can sense something is building, even as life looks fine from the outside

want somewhere they don’t have to explain themselves or work anything out straight away

are ready for a pause that helps them come back to themselves, rather than just push through again

are beginning to realise that staying well while carrying responsibility is something most of us were never actually shown how to do

At River Reset, just outside Dubbo, you will

arrive into a quiet riverside setting where there’s nothing you need to organise or manage

be gently guided through simple ways of helping your system settle after a full week of holding things together

spend time outdoors beside the river, where most people notice their thinking becomes clearer again

have space to reflect on what’s been building beneath the surface, without any pressure to speak unless you want to

leave with a steadier sense of what matters most right now and what your next step might be

River Reset draws on psychological insight and nervous system understanding to create the conditions where clarity returns naturally.

This isn’t about fixing anything.

It’s a space where, for a little while, you don’t have to be in charge.

A place just for you to put things down, let the static clear, and come back to yourself in care and safety.

Most women leave with a clearer sense of what belongs to them, what can be let go, and how to keep creating moments like this in the middle of ordinary life.

This session gives you a couple of hours where nothing is expected from you.

Time in a quiet riverside setting, with gentle guidance to help your system settle after a full week of holding things together.

During River Reset, most people notice:

their breathing slows
their thinking becomes clearer
and they can hear themselves again

Often that’s enough to recognise what matters most right now and what the next step might be.

River Reset brings together psychological insight, nervous system awareness, and time in nature in a way most people haven’t experienced before.

There is nothing you need to prepare.
Nothing you need to explain.
Just space to pause and come back to yourself.

If this has been on your mind for a while, that usually means something.

You’re very welcome to join us.

Held by Renee Webster

Renee Webster is a psychological therapist who works with people who are often carrying a great deal in their own lives or for others.

Over many years of practice, she noticed that most of us were never shown how to stay mentally well while living the lives we’re responsible for.

River Reset grew from that understanding.

Her work combines psychological insight, nervous system awareness, and practical ways of returning to centre — so people can find a pocket of peace they can come back to in the middle of everyday life.
